There are a number of ways you can get in touch – and keep in touch – with the Willis Tree – by making sure you don’t miss out on new stuff, and by contacting me directly.
To get in touch with me, you can:
- CONTACT FORM – Use the Contact form on this website.
- EMAIL ME – Email me directly: thewillistree @ outlook.com
- ONLINE FORMS
- Use the online templates on the BMD Records page if you have birth, marriage or death certificate details to send me.
- Use the online data entry template to provide details of someone in your family tree.
To keep in touch with what’s new, you can:
- BOOKMARK – Bookmark the What’s New page of the website. Then you can easily check the page whenever you want.
- EMAIL – Sign up for Daily Email Notifications via Feedburner. You will receive an email once per day whenever the site is updated – you just need to provide your email address.
- TWITTER – Follow the Willis Tree Twitter account – @TheWillisTree1 . The Twitter account is updated from directly from the Willis Tree site almost as soon as changes are made; plus I ‘tweet’ whenever a new History item is added to the site, and sometimes ‘tweet’ other genealogy/history related items I come across.
- FACEBOOK – Keep tabs via the Willis Tree Facebook page. This isn’t updated from the Willis Tree site but, like the Twitter account, it’s a good place to let people know about new items on the website, or other things I’ve found of interest.
- NEWSLETTER – Sign up to receive the monthly e-Newsletter. In the e-Newsletter I try to give a round-up of what’s been happening in my genealogy research over the past few weeks plus other things I think you’ll find of interest.
[For the technically-minded: the Willis Tree database software produces an RSS feed which is converted by Google’s Feedburner site into a readable format. This data is then used for (a) the daily email updates from Feedburner; (b) the Twitter feed. It’s the Twitter feed which you see scrolling happily on the right-hand side of the Willis Tree homepage. ]
